Abstract

The role of humans in a company cannot be separated from the risk of work accidents. Work accidents are all unplanned events that cause or have the potential to cause injury, pain, damage or loss. There are many factors that can cause work accidents, such as a poor work environment, wrong work methods, less than optimal work equipment, and so on. The impact of work accidents also varies, from minor accidents such as bumps, minor injuries, to major accidents such as fires or even explosions. The aim of this research is to determine the risk of occupational accidents among workers at CV. Sengon Pati Flower. This research uses descriptive analytical research. The design of this research is a mixed sample population method using purposive sampling which obtained a total of 3 informants. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, documentation. Data analysis was carried out semi-qualitatively using the HIRA (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment) form research instrument. The results of the researcher's identification show that there are nineteen production stages for making plywood and each stage has potential chemical, ergonomic and physical hazards and has the impact of potential hazards ranging from being pinched by wood, being crushed by wood, falling wood, back pain and animal bites. Based on the results of identifying the risk of work accidents at CV. Kembang Sengon found that the potential dangers of work accidents include chemical, ergonomic and physical hazards.
