The Relationship Between Mother's Knowledge and Posyandu and Mother's Compliance In Visiting Posyandu at Tonghap Posyandu, Tabur Lestari Village

Abstract
Posyandu (maternal health unit) is a forum for communication, technology transfer and public health services that have strategic value for developing human resources from an early age. By regularly coming to Posyandu, the growth and development of children during their golden years will be monitored properly. Mothers can also consult directly with health cadres or health workers and share experiences with other mothers as well while at the Posyandu. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge about Posyandu and obedience of mothers visiting the Posyandu at Tonghap Posyandu, Tabur Lestari Village. This research is a quantitative research that is correlational with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were mothers who had toddlers aged 1-5 years in the Tonghap area of Tabur Lestari Village. The respondents of this study were 58 respondents obtained by accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis technique used was the Chi Square test, because there are 2 cells whose expected account is <5, so Fisher's exact test is used. Based on the bivariate analysis of mother's knowledge about Posyandu and mother's adherence to visiting Posyandu, the value was 0.365 > 0.05, which means there was no relationship. So, it can be concluded that there was no relationship between mother's knowledge about Posyandu and obedience of mothers visiting the Posyandu at Tonghap Posyandu, Tabur Lestari Village. The mothers are suggested to make more regular visits to Posyandu. Participating in activities at Posyandu rose awareness in which monitoring the growth and development of toddlers was very important.
