Abstract

According to data from the WorldHealth Organization (WHO), more than 100 million couples use effective contraceptives, with 75% using hormonal contraception and 25% using non- hormonal contraception. One of the injectable contraceptives that is popular and effective is the 3-month injectable contraceptive which contains Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA). This research aims to describe the DMPAinjection contraceptive acceptors at Puskesmas (community health center)Kranggan, Temanggung, Central Java. The research is analytical observation research with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in the study wasthe total sampling of 75 DMPA injection contraceptive acceptors. In this study, anethical clearance test No. N0.1837/KEP- UNISA/XI/2023 was carried out. The instrument used in the study was the medical record. The acceptors of injectable KB(contraceptive) acceptors were described as follows: the majority of respondents were of non-risk age with 51 acceptors (68%), the majority of respondents were multipara parity as many as 49 acceptors (65%), the majority had high school degree with 30 acceptors (40%), and the majority of respondents were housewiveswith 47 acceptors (63%).
