Ineffective Airway Clearance Management In Children With ISPA

Abstract
ISPA is a respiratory disease caused by infectious agents that are transmitted from human to human as well as environmental factors with symptoms of fever, cough, runny nose. Chest physiotherapy is very effective in removing secretions for children. This writing aims to provide an overview of the problem of ineffective respiratory clearance in children. This Scientific Paper uses a descriptive research method with a nursing care approach in the form of assessment, data analysis, formulating diagnoses, planning, nursing implementation and evaluation in handling ineffective airway clearance with ISPA in children aged 1-3 years. The management of airway management carried out by the author includes monitoring breathing patterns, monitoring additional breath sounds, monitoring sputum, positioning semi fowlers, giving warm drinks, educating chest physiotherapy, doing chest physiotherapy, recommending fluid intake and doing it for 3x24 hours. On physical examination, secretions were found in the right anterior dextra superior chest. The final result is that the secretions in the child can be removed easily and the child looks calmer and more cheerfulIt can be concluded that the problem of ineffective airway clearance can be solved. Suggestions for parents to be able to do chest physiotherapy independently in children to overcome the problem of secretions that are difficult to remove.
