Factors Related to Failure Mothers in Exclusive Breastfeeding for Toddlers Aged 6-12 Months in The Depok II Health Center Area

Abstract
Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure the health and survival of children. The factors that cause the failure of exclusive breastfeeding are the Driving Factors (Prosdispositionng Factors), namely age, knowledge, family encouragement, body image, attitude and work of the mother in exclusive breastfeeding. This study aims to find out the factors related to the failure of mothers in providing exclusive breastfeeding in the Depok II Health Center area in 2023. This study is quantitative research using a survey analytical research design with a cross sectional approach, namely descriptive research. The sampling technique in this study is a sampling quota with a sample number of 67. Data collection uses a questionnaire that has been adopted, data analysis in this study uses univariate analysis. The results of the study in this study were 67 (100%) babies aged 6-12 months who failed to get exclusive breastfeeding. Exclusive breastfeeding failure factors based on age were found that most mothers have a healthy reproductive age of 20-35 years, based on the knowledge that most mothers have sufficient knowledge, based on the mother's attitude that most mothers have a positive attitude, based on family support that most mothers get family support and based on body image that most mothers have a positive body image. Based on the results of the research found, it is recommended for mothers to increase their insights related to exclusive breastfeeding to increase maternal knowledge and can encourage mothers to give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies.
