Description of the Level of Pre-Operating Anxiety in Sectio Caesarea Patients at Hj Anna Lasmanah Hospital Banjarnegara

Abstract
Preoperative anxiety generally occurs in patients undergoing anesthesia and elective surgical procedures. Management of anxiety at the preventive and therapeutic stages requires a holistic approach, which includes physical (somatic), psychological or psychiatric, psychosocial and psychoreligious. Purpose to understand the description of the level of preoperative anxiety in caesarean section patients at Hj Anna Lasmanah Banjarnegara Hospital. Method This type of research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used probability sampling of 76 patients. The measuring tool used was a questionnaire. The analysis test uses the univariate test. Results age with an average of 27.61 years. Most of the ASA physical status was in ASA II physical status (86.8%). Most of the births were in the primipara category (57.9%). The preoperative anxiety level in caesarean section patients at RSUD Hj Anna Lasmanah Banjarnegara was mostly in the medium category (52.6%).
