Case Study of Behavior Therapy Implementation in Schizophrenia Patient with The Risk of Violent Behavior

Abstract
Mental health is a state of well-being that enables a harmonious and productive life and is an integral part of a person's quality of life. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by disturbances in thinking processes and abnormal emotional expressions. Symptoms of schizophrenia patients are a risk of violent behavior, one of which can be controlled through behavior therapy. The purpose of this case study is to find out the results of the implementation of behavior therapy in schizophrenic patients with a risk of violent behavior. The method used is a case study on one patient with interviews, observation and documentation studies using a design that includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The participants used were Mrs. S with a medical diagnosis of schizophrenia with a risk of violent behavior in the Bima room at Banyumas Hospital. Analysis of the data used with evaluation before and after giving the implementation of behavior therapy. The results of the case study show that behavior therapy has a significant effect on changes in risk symptoms of violent behavior in schizophrenic patients.
