Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological process that needs to be prepared by women so that they can be passed safely. The drug may cause unwanted effects on the fetus during pregnancy. Knowledge of pregnant women is very important, including knowing which drugs are allowed and should not be consumed by pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women in the womb polyclinic Rahayu Yakkum Purwodadi Hospital and also to determine the relationship between education level and knowledge level of pregnant women. This research is a non-experimental research with descriptive method which was taken by purposive sampling. Data obtained from questionnaires containing questions about personal data, sources of information, and knowledge. Results are processed using univariate and bivariate. Univariate uses frequency distribution, while bivariate uses Chi-Square. Based on the age of pregnant women the majority of 20-30 years old research results amounted to 84.3%, the level of education the majority of high schools totaled 47.1%, work the majority work as housewives at 74.5%, the gestational age of the majority of trimester 3 amounted to 82.4%, the number of pregnancies, the majority are children 1,2 and 3 totaling 49%,  the majority of drugs used, Prenamia is 49.1%, complaints of pregnancy the majority complained of nausea as much as 72.5%,  the source of information the majority of obstetricians amounted to 84.3%. Based on the attitude of the majority of pregnant women to be positive about the source of information. Based on knowledge, the majority level of knowledge is low at 80.4%. The level of knowledge of pregnant women in the womb polyclinic Rahayu Yakkum Purwodadi Hospital is classified as low, namely the majority of 80.4% of respondents. There is no relationship between the level of knowledge with the level of education.
