Overview of TBC Examination Compliance in Contact Investigations in The Tambak I Health Center Area

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) control efforts in Indonesia have been implemented, including improving TB services, strengthening TB program leadership from the center to districts/ cities, controlling TB risk factors, one of which is through PHBS education, establishing partnerships with cross-sectors, empowering communities, and strengthening program management TB. The program for controlling and finding TB cases is not only passive through active promotion, but also through intensive and massive active discovery or Contact Investigation (IK) based on families and communities. Active discovery or IK should be carried out 3 times in 1 year to determine the number of cases. Objective to find out the description of TB examination compliance in contact investigations at the Tambak I Banyumas Community Health Center. This research was a quantitative descriptive research. The sampling technique in this research used an accidental sampling technique of 40 respondents. The measuring instrument used an observation sheet and the analysis test used a univariate test. The research results showed that the most dominant age was 36-45 years (60%), the most dominant gender was female (67.5%). Compliance with TB testing during contact investigations at the Tambak I Community Health Center was found to be the most dominant in the non-compliant category (62.5%).
