The Influence of Early Marriage Counseling on The Knowledge Level About Early Marriage in Adolescents at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Yogyakarta

Abstract
Early marriage is defined as a marriage that occurs before the desired age and for which the physical, mental, and material preparation have not all reached their maximum levels. After Cambodia, Indonesia has the second-highest rate of youngmarriages in ASEAN. It is ranked 37th overall. The risks of maternal and newborn mortality are about 30% higher in early marriage for women who give birth at a young age because of problems during pregnancy and labor. Domestic violence, which affects young women to a degree of up to 56%, is another effect of early marriage. Early marriage is connected to poverty as well as limiting women's accessto education. This kind of study is quantitative and uses a pre-experimental design. The approach employed is lecture research with counseling for public education campaigns by both governmental and non-governmental organisations. This studyused a simple random sampling method in conjunction with a probability samplingrandom sampling strategy. The 65 samples are made up of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul class X pupils. Early Marriage Counseling for Adolescents at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Yogyakarta yielded p-values of 0.000, which are smaller than the threshold limit of 0.05. This indicates that Early Marriage Counseling hasan impact on adolescents' knowledge about Early Marriage at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Yogyakarta.
