Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 19 (Covid-19) has been running for more than two years and is still a pandemic in several countries, including Indonesia. Various efforts have been made by the government to overcome this problem. The implementation of strict health protocols and the provision of vaccinations are considered effective enough to reduce the number of Covid-19. The Covid-19 vaccination is given to the elderly, adults and teenagers who are also susceptible to Covid-19 infection. The level of knowledge and high participation of youth is expected to be able to break the chain of transmission and reduce the incidence of Covid-19. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccination with the attitude of adolescents in participating in the Covid-19 vaccination. This type of research is non-experimental with a correlational design and a cross-sectional design. This study with 47 respondents and the selection of samples using total sampling. Collecting data using knowledge and attitude questionnaires. The results showed that the most teenagers were in the late teens category, namely 57.4%, the most gender was male (53.2%), the highest education level was SMA, which was 38.3%, the knowledge level of Covid-19 vaccination was in good category (55 ,3%), attitude towards vaccination in the supportive category (68,1%). The chi square correlation test on knowledge with respondents' attitudes shows the p value = 0, 037 (p < 0, 05). From these results, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of adolescents in participating in the covid-19 vaccination. Providing good and correct information will encourage youth attitudes in supporting participation in the Covid-19 vaccination.
