The Nurse Therapeutic Communication Relationship with Patient Satisfaction Level in Regional Public Hospital of dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan

Abstract
Therapeutic communication is an important component in nursing. The creation of good therapeutic communication will create a trusting relationship between nurses and patients. Thus, patients will feel satisfied and comfortable with the services provided by nurses so as to increase the spirit and motivation of patients to recover. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nurse therapeutic communication with the level of satisfaction of inpatients in Regional Public Hospital of Dr R Soedjati Soemodiardjo Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan. This type of research uses a descriptive type of correlation by using approach cross-sectional. The population included in research is all inpatients in Regional Public Hospital of Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan, with a total population 134 patients. The type of sampling in this research uses type of probability sampling, the sampling technique used is propotional random sampling with a total sampling 57 respondents. Using the Chi-Square statistical test.Which uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The amount of nurses who using therapeutic communication is 35 respondents (61,4%), the level of patient satisfaction in the satisfied category is amount 32 respondents (56,1%). And also there is a relationship between therapeutic communication and the level of satisfaction of inpatients in Regional Public Hospital of Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan with value p-value 0,000< 0,05. Nurses are expected to always maintain good therapeutic communication, so that it can influence the patient, which in turn makes the patient satisfied.
