Abstract

During adolescence, changes occur both physically and psychologically, especially in the reproductive system and hormones. Adolescents are required to be able to adapt to these changes and get the right information about reproductive health to prevent reproductive health problems. For this reason, the government has created a youth posyandu program that aims to be a forum for obtaining information and also solving adolescent problems related to reproductive health. Unfortunately, during the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a decline in the number of visits by teenagers to the youth posyandu. This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between the frequency of visits to the posyandu for adolescents and adolescents' knowledge of reproductive health. The study was conducted in Mengening Village in February 2022. This research is a correlative research using a cross sectional design. Sampling technique with a total sampling technique of 30 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of 20 question items. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with the Spearman rank test. The results showed that there was a very strong relationship between the frequency of visits to the youth posyandu on adolescent knowledge about reproductive health with p value = 0.000 and r value = 0.731. It is hoped that goverment will increase the motivation of youth to participate in the youth posyandu.
